Hi, I’m Kelly! A Minnesota family, maternity, and newborn photographer, mom of two toddlers, and someone who has always had a soft spot for motherhood and the little moments we wish we could hold onto forever.

My love for photography started long before Kelly Christine Photography ever existed. I grew up attending an arts school, where I was able to explore creativity in all its forms and discovered photography at a young age. I fell in love with how it could preserve a feeling, a connection, and a moment that might otherwise be forgotten.

Before becoming a photographer, I earned my degree in sonography. Even then, I found myself especially drawn to motherhood and growing families. There was something incredibly meaningful about being invited into such an intimate chapter of someone’s story. Looking back, it feels fitting that my path eventually led me to maternity and newborn photography, where I still get to celebrate those same beginnings, just from the other side of the camera.

Then I became a mom myself, and the way I saw photography changed all over again. Raising two toddlers has given me an even deeper appreciation for how beautiful, exhausting, hilarious, messy, and unbelievably fast these years go by. I notice the little things: tiny hands wrapped around yours, wispy baby hair, sleepy newborn snuggles, and the way your toddler still fits perfectly on your hip... because I know how quickly they change.

Today, I photograph families throughout the Twin Cities, Minnesota, and western Wisconsin, specializing in relaxed, connection-filled family, maternity, motherhood, and lifestyle newborn photography. My approach is intentional without feeling overly posed. I’ll gently guide you when you need it, give your little ones room to be themselves, and embrace the beautiful chaos that comes with photographing real families.

And somewhere along the way, I’ve learned that pampering moms might just be my favorite part of this job. You spend so much of your life making sure everyone else is taken care of, so I want your photography experience to be one place where someone takes care of you. From helping you choose outfits and planning the details to creating a relaxed session where you can simply love on your babies, my goal is to make family photos feel easier from beginning to end.

When I’m not behind the camera, you can usually find me spending time with my family, getting outside whenever I can, or with a cup of coffee or tea nearby. I also grew up riding horses, so they’ll forever have a special place in my heart.

As a Minnesota family and newborn photographer, my hope is to create photographs that don't just show you what your family looked like during this season, but bring you right back to what it felt like to be here.

Because someday, these ordinary little moments will be the ones you’d give anything to experience one more time.
